The last minute rush has set in. Tomorrow evening I drive back to Chicagoland. By 10:30 a.m. Friday, I will be on my way to sunny Omaha. Lots to do before then. Including attempting to finish up rough draft of the last pieces of my thesis, taking care of a few lab-related things, packing, and preparing newer drafts of my resume and CV to go. My comfort zone has been shattered and I'm right back to being a bundle of nerves. The boy has left me and I won't see him for at least 2 weeks now, if not 3, depending on when I return.
